One of the two main reasons we were in the Europe in August and September, 2006 was a conference Bryan was attending in Cambridge: Interactome Networks. He was presenting a poster, and his boss was presenting his work (among other things). Anyway, this left me free to wander around Cambridge alone for four days, from 9:00 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. I wish I'd planned it better. I ended up doing what I usually do in a strange city: wandering around on foot, looking at buildings, and wondering where I can get a reasonably priced lunch that contains vegetables (answer: Marks and Spenser)
